Hello! I'm J.P. and I've been a lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay Area. I pursued a career as a financial advisor to make a difference in people's lives. Over the years I've helped scores of young people, families and independent business owners with varying financial goals and objectives.  

In recent years however, I realized that many of my clients were rapidly approaching retirement.  I found that they had many more questions than they did answers.  Unfortunately, the wealth accumulation phase of life has many more DIY (do it yourself) tools than does the wealth de-accumulation phase.  Nowadays there's an app for all things investing.  Even the most novice investor can quickly and readily find "robo- advice" on portfolio selection and allocation.  

The same isn't true for sound and clear guidance when it comes to the challenges faced during the pre-retirement transition. As a result, I have a new passion, to help those who have toiled and labored to reap their golden retirement harvest. A harvest that represents a lifetime of work and sacrifice. I consider it a privilege to help remove some of the fears and anxieties, from a time that should be spent enjoying the fruits of their harvest with those they love, by carefully planning and implementing a roadmap towards a well lived second act.

I have been helping families and individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 18 years.  I launched my independent practice after many years of working with several major financial institutions. I hold industry designations from the American College of Financial Services and certification from the NSSA® (For Social Security Planning). I've passed both the series 6 and 63 securities licenses and I'm also licensed for Life, Health and Long Term Care Insurance. I have extensive experience with IRA and Qualified plan rollovers as well as Federal Employee benefits, for federal employees that are retiring and looking for assistance with such programs as their FEGLI benefits.
